Prospective Students

Do you have interests in both computer science and accounting and business? Do you see yourself working in computer applications in banking, insurance, finance and investment? Modern banks, investment firms and insurance companies are now crucially dependent on Information Technology (IT). In fact, you could argue that companies in the financial services sector are really IT companies.

"The computer systems design and related services industry is expected to be one of the 10 fastest growing industries in the tech economy, adding more than 600,000 jobs (US numbers) between 2002-2012." US Bureau of Labour Statistics, Career Guide to Industries (February, 2004). The same rate of growth is expected in Canada.

In this co-op only program, 4 years and 8 months in length, you'll become a professional who applies knowledge of IT and computer science to financial management and business options. You'll earn a Bachelor of Computing and Financial Management degree after completing 8 study terms and 6 work terms.
